Our room was meticulously maintained; with welcome delicacies and fresh fruit, a fully stocked complimentary minibar of high-quality snacks, softs drinks and beers, refreshed daily, and even thoughtful touches such as rose petals on the bed and those intricate towel designs, formed into swans and hearts that can help but put a smile on your face each day.

The hotel features multiple pools, including an activity pool with walkways and bridges, a quieter serenity pool for relaxation, and a dedicated kids’ pool section. There’s also a waterpark with six exciting slides. The pools are beautifully designed, with the light falling effortlessly on the cream buildings and sparkling waters, creating a picturesque setting at any time of day.
I am not always a pool-goer and tend to run for the beach on any holiday. However, the pools at Iberotel Redsina have a stunning picturesque atmosphere to them; their expansiveness allows you a sense of privacy and luxury as you recline on the beach beds or take a dip, and the friendly staff ready to whip up a cool and refreshing cocktail makes a pool session hard to resist!
Guests can stay active with yoga, pilates, aerobics, tennis, beach volleyball, and water-based activities like scuba diving and water polo. The variety of activities ensures there’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking to stay fit or try something new. The hotel has a bustling itinerary of daily activities, and the team are attentive, fun and engaged to help bring vitality and fun to your stay!
We received an organized list of the daily activities on arrival and I would highly recommend one of the morning or sunset yoga sessions; it is set in such picturesque, well-kept gardens, with the beaming sunshine and peaceful surroundings of the resort, you’ll be left feeling like a new person.
The hotel offers a diverse culinary experience with four distinct restaurants:
- Waleema Restaurant: The main buffet restaurant serves a variety of international dishes, including a healthy food section, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The food hall is massive, with a wide array of choices that cater to all tastes.
- Zaatar Restaurant: This restaurant offers local Egyptian cuisine in a rustic setting, providing an authentic dining experience. The flavours are rich and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
- Oliviera Restaurant: Enjoy a modern dining atmosphere with a wide range of Mediterranean dishes. The dishes are beautifully presented and bursting with flavour.
- Street Side Restaurant: This venue offers a street food dining experience with lunch, snacks, and sandwiches available throughout the day. It’s perfect for a quick bite or a casual meal.
We visited each restaurant once during our stay; Waleema serves a hearty and well-made breakfast with endless choices and continues this theme through its varied daily buffets. The dinner buffets have a wide selection of salads, middle eastern and Mediterranean dishes, proteins, grills and desserts. My favourite aspect about this restaurant is how quickly staff learn your preferences (I had my favourite drink waiting for me by the time I was seated at my table), and that no dietary preference is too much to ask – if they can do it, they will! This really exceeded my expectations as far as buffet-style restaurants go.
