We have an unequivocal thirst for luxury and globe-trotting, but we are also conscious of doing our part to protect the planet. Be it climate change from carbon emissions or the lack of sustainability in fast-fashion, we know over-tourism and over-consumption can have detrimental effects on our planet. But we also knows that the world cannot stop travelling, nor will it stop buying the latest products.

Joanna Malek founded HASHTAG LIFE in 2012 with a clear vision to create an outlet that brought readers tangible experiences for them to replicate. Having spent her career in Wealth & Asset Management, she was challenged to finding the time after a hectic week to relax and enjoy her life. Finding time to travel, write, dine-out, or just go for a relaxing facial was never easy. Knowing when to go, as much as where to go.
So Joanna became the Queen of Weekend Getaways, and HASHTAG LIFE was borne to bring valuable information to your fingertips. Her ethos for HASHTAG LIFE is not only to capture the latest trends in luxury travel and lifestyle, but to capture a positive life worth living.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR & HEAD OF COMMUNICATIONS
Fabiana Mikhail journeyed into journalism after a decade long career in Investment Banking. She joined HASHTAG LIFE in 2017 whilst searching for a way to be more creative and express her love for sharing knowledge. Fabiana is super chic, with an encyclopaedic knowledge of all things beauty and fashion and an enviable photographic memory. From her ability to explain every aesthetic treatment as if she’s a trained doctor, to explaining the 2004 Tom Ford for Gucci runway collection, she will always impress you with her knowledge, flair and passion. Thanks to many visits to her father’s publishing house as a child (mostly for the MacDonalds and vending machine Hot Chocolate), she has always had a good eye for graphic design and branding. She joined Hashtag Life with the zestful endeavour to making the Magazine a worldwide success! She set-up our Beauty coverage and has established a strong connection to many Aesthetic Doctors in Harley Street. When Fabiana is not lost in the depths of Photoshop or InDesign, you can most likely find her trying new beauty products, at her favourite restaurants or escaping to Greece!
Thanks to her relentless efforts she is now not only creative, but a great spokesperson for our boutique brand.

Lily Dellal joined HASHTAG LIFE to bring her wealth of experience in brand partnerships and advertising. She came with valuable experience in working on large campaigns such as British Airways, Four Seasons and Mandarin Oriental, as well brands such as Hermes, Cartier and LVMH. Her relationship with such prominent brands has been invaluable to the team at HASHTAG LIFE.
When not immersed in the world of media requests, you’ll find her chasing the sun along the Med, or devouring a plate of hummus and falafels! Coupled with her passion for music, good clothes and even better bags, Lily’s taste, positive outlook and critical-thinking abilities are what make her our star at getting things done!
