Hashtag Life is a proud partner with Cornucopia events the number one global private events and Conceirge service delivering some of the worlds most exclusive, bespoke, and unimagined event solutions, globally.
Last month marked the one year anniversary of the largest private event that the industry has ever seen; a $30 million weekend long opening ceremony of a Bangkok Megamall.
Cornucopia seamlessly managed the event, securing a keynote performance by global superstar Alecia Keys. The 15-time Grammy Award winning artist was the main event at the $1.6 billion IconSiam, the latest massive mall development to compete in the Thai capital’s lucrative yet crowded shopping scene.
Of the event, Founder and Managing Director Mini Vohra said: “We got the request from Iconsiam that they are about to do an opening, the total budget was $30 million and they wanted a headline diva to play, so we got Alicia Keys. She’s so amazing, it was goosebump time.
“I genuinely cannot think of anyone else that has the reputation that we do for booking celebrities. There’s so many different agencies out there, but we’re the only one that has the credibility and relationship with celebrities that you can approach them and get the people that are impossible to get hold of.”
He added that Cornucopia Events is set to continue producing prestigious events featuring big names.
“Two years ago I really thought I had already reached the peak of my career, but I’m constantly surprised by how much we achieve,” he said. “Earlier this year I walked the red carpet at the Oscars. There are always more things we want to do.
“Every good company should grow in turnover. What I never want to do is make it into one of those agencies that are so big I don’t have full control over everything that is going on.
“My projection for the future is we’re going to continue to do exciting deals, putting on events with royalty, celebrities and billionaire clients. I’m committed to making sure that Cornucopia is the number one agency in terms of reputation. It has to remain the most exciting brand in our industry.”
Bangkok’s elite and international celebrities — including British actress Naomi Watts and K-Pop star Choi Si-won — attended the opening on the banks of the city’s Chao Praya river in the historic section of the capital.
What this translates as, is testament to Cornucopia’s reach. The events company, managed by founder Mini Vohra, is able to execute to complete precision, some of the world’s most complex events and their demands. It is no surprise then, that in the last year alone, Cornucopia has collected several world wide and highly acclaimed accolades including winning the the Greater London Enterprise Awards and Global Hospitality Awards, as well as being shortlisted for the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade – a monumental recognition.
So what can Cornucopia do for you? Translated as “The Horn of Plenty” and having worked on some of the most complex, historical, one-of-a-kind events of the last two decades, theres not much they can’t do. But here are a few ideas:
Worldwide Events: Whether its box seats to a Mayweather Fight, or a Taylor Swift show – no genre, location, sold-out-status, or exclusivity eludes Cornucopia’s grasp. Think: from the Beyonce World Tour, to the Rolling Stones, to the FIFA World Cup. Nothing is out of scope.
Galas and Balls: Select, esteemed Cornucopia Clients are invited to completely closed to the public events such as AMFAR, The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Gala, and many more A-list philanthropic initiatives.
Corporate Events which break the mold: Cornucopia knows how to build an enjoyable ‘party like experience’ – even in Corporate and Professional settings whether this be landmark celebrations, or team-building initiatives.
Private Events: rumoured to have once pulled up a £7M wedding at Disneyland Paris, and having planned bespoke evenings for trusting clients such as Lady Gaga, there is no event or party out of scale for Cornucopia.
