Hashtag Life visited the Caribbean’s sweetheart island of St, Lucia, known for it’s colourful love for life, and reclinational style of living. The island boasts tropical beauty, unspoiled landscapes, azure Caribbean waters, and the beautiful twin Pitons. It is the perfect honeymooner’s destination, or adverturer’s island.
We stayed North of the Island at the Hilton’s Harbor Club, overlooking the gorgeous harbor of Rodney Bay,with stunning sunsets, excellent gastronomy, and most of all, a pivotal base to explore the island from.
About
The Harbor Club, St Lucia is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, is set in the Gros Islet quarter of the Northwest Coast of the Island. The hotel’s rootop restaurant, 14 North is names after St. Lucia’s degree of latitude, offering Asian-Caribbean fusion cuisine that is a brilliant blend of cultures, flavours, and creeativity. Located on the sixth floor, 14 North overlooks the marina in a modern setting with floor-to-ceiling bay windows for uninterrupted views, day-to-night.Private dining options, special celebrations and weddings can all be catered to at this stunning restaurant and it’s unique setting.
Another firm-favourite of ours was Market Street Sushi; a dockside restaurant overlooking the harbor from a different vantage point, but equally alluring from day-to-night. Sit back and relax as your sushi chef handcrafts authentic nigiri, and maki-rolls, lined into stunning gourmet platters, alongside refreshing asian salads and flavours, for the ultimately refreshing, light, and luxurious meal before the glistening sun-kissed harbor, A glass of wine in hand, yacht-like blues and white lining the open-air settings of Market Street, and utter comfort, make this the perfect luxury spot for guest and visitors alike.
