The Best of
London Restaurants

One of the best things about London is the sheer selection of amazing Restaurants. Londoners and visitors are very spoilt for dining, social, and watering choices. We can never complain that the city lacks variety or different tastes! This Best London Restaurants Guide is curated for the one who seeks luxury in London.

"The one who can dominate a London dinner table can dominate the world."

Hashtag Life has experienced each and every one of these Restaurants, to be very sure when making our recommendations. To keep it simple, we have listed our recommendations in alphabetical order. Cheers!

AVE MARIO

London restaurants

Sibling to Circle Populare, our other Big Momma group favourite, is Ave Mario, located in Covent Garden. Expect Italian pizzas with a cultural twist, and lots of sharing plates to keep you entertained in the heart of Theatreland. The resident decor will transport you to your own Italian holiday right in the heart of London.

BAGATELLE

Bagatelle brings you Mediterranean cuisine with all the frills of the French Riveria, and the flair of Italian style. This is the place to be seen, to be entertained, and to thoroughly enjoy terrific food thanks to global corporate Chef, Rocco Seminara, and have a good party!

BISUSHIMA

London Restaurants

Japanese cuisine to join London’s finest. Views over Trafalgar Square, open Chef kitchen, micro details in every mouthful that will leave wanting more.

We highly recommend starting with a few small sharing dishes, and a selection of the artistic sushi rolls. If you’re feeling like going all out then order from the daily Chef’s specials, including the wonderful aged sirloin steak on the bone.

BURGER & LOBSTER

The finest way to eat lobster is the surf n turf way! Burger & Lobster restaurants are nestled in every part of London, and internationally too.

You can be sure that every visit to B&L will involve enjoying clawsome lobsters and rolls in hand, but the burger with cheese and bacon is pretty awesome too. Those who enjoy feasting on the market specials will find lobsters at different weights to really get that B&L baby’s bib to work. The Starters usually feature Lobster Croquettes, Rock Oysters, and Wild Black Prawns to name a few.

FISHWORKS

Freshest seafood and fish, with catch of the day cooked to your liking. Wild sourced, fresh, and no frills. Expect the sweetest Devon Crab, and most tender catch of the day Seabass. Visit their restaurants in Marylebone after a long day shopping, or Covent Garden pre-theatre for a satisfying meal!

MADHU'S MAYFAIR

London Restaurants

Indian dining in the grandest of ballrooms, located within the Dilly Hotel on Piccadilly. Dress to impress, and get ready for Indian flavours that will keep you wanting more. Madhu’s are leaders in Indian catering so they always deliver on flavour and presentation. We are big fans of the Paneer Tikka, and the Prawn Moilee curry, and not to forget the Peshwari Naan to soak up every last drop of sauce.

MONTAGU KITCHEN

Located in Hyatt Regency – The Churchill, on Portman Square, Montagu Kitchen sits under the leadership of Executive Chef Roger Olssen and Head Chef Carlo Alberto Martino.

British cuisine that brings flair and playfulness to classical dishes. The food is Michelin worthy in quality and presentation, but with an overdose of humility. Each dish has a story, a trick, a thought provoking memory of flavours.

Our favourite dishes are the Rosemary infused sourdough loaf served with little piggy shaped pork lard. For mains, choose the special menu’s sharing friendly 30 days aged Diary Cow, tender, marbled, and served with (but don’t fight over) the crunchiest triple cooked potato bonbons, which you can request with truffle shavings too. For dessert, the sticky toffee pudding will not disappoint, because you get the right amount of sweetness, and crust, with filled with flavours of both toasted butter and creamy toffee.

NIPA THAI

London restaurants

Nestled within the Royal Lancaster Hotel, and minutes away from Bond Street and Oxford Street. Nipa Thai pays exceptional honour to authentic Thai cuisine.

You will find the favourite Pad Thai and Satay Chicken, as well as Thai Green and Red curries. The cuisine is lovingly made by an all female team of chefs. There are breathtaking views of Hyde Park across the width of the restaurant, not to mention you can spend a perfect weekend getaway at the hotel, and enjoy the hotel’s Spa and local shopping districts.

PARK ROW

London restaurants

Action-packed menu, with a nod to DC Comic’s Batman, in a tasteful Art Deco setting. Be ready to drink cocktails out of paintings, ordering another dozen deep-fried oysters, and watching freeze-dried roses being scrunched over your dessert. This menu is to die for, it has everything you wish all restaurants had, so there will be something for everyone. Not to mention, there are multiple bar areas for those impending parties and celebrations, as well as live jazz and singers to get the party mood going. Book quickly!

RUYA

Turkish Anatolian dining at its very best, so you will be in for a real treat with culinary perfection and sample the best selection and presentation for Western Asia cuisine. Diners can enjoy cocktails at the Mekan Bar, and we highly recommend the Anatolian Fizz. Be prepared to savour the flavours of grilled aubergine, freshly baked pide bread with melted cheese, short rib, jumbo prawns, just to name a few!

SUMOSAN TWIGA

Nestled between Sloane Street boutiques is Sumosan Twiga, the presentation of two worlds, Japanese and Italian cuisine. Get ready for fine dining with live DJ and plenty of glamorous socialising over the delicious menu, that allows you to mix and match your favourite from the Italian or the Japanese menu. The ingredients are authentic, but complimentary so you can definitely share a carpaccio while also enjoying the yellowtail sashimi. Whether you choose a truffle pasta or a platter of sushi, or indulge in both is completely your prerogative!

STICKS N SUSHI

London restaurants

Bringing you the perfect blend of grilled and fresh Japanese food, with the finesse and execution the Danish way. Whichever part of London you spend your time or shop, there will likely be a Stick N Sushi near you, so there is no excuse to miss out on excellent variety of sushi and the delicious selection of grilled “sticks”.
