HYATT REGENCY - THE CHURCHILL, MARYLEBONE
When Hashtag Life visited Hyatt Regency The Churchill back in Autumn 2021, we were blown away by the hospitality, gastronomy, and chic relaxation on offer.
Steeped in authentic British charm, the hotel is adorned with elegance, refined décor that give a subtle nod to Winston Churchill and British opulence. The Churchill offers a sophisticated stay in Marylebone overlooking Portman Square Garden, and nestled behind Hyde Park and Oxford Street in the heart of London’s West End, giving you plenty of ways to fall in love with London.
For Valentine’s Day, Churchill is offering a gastronomical journey at The Montagu Kitchen, with a special menu created by Executive Head Chef Roger Olsson and his wonderful team. Having tried Chef Olsson’s British menu, we can whole-heartedly say we trust in his latest creation. Executive Chef Olsson will take you through the different chapters of his modern British menu, based on seasonal ingredients and placing its main focus on quality and sustainability. The Valentine’s Tasting Menu is priced at £220 for two people and includes a glass of Moet & Chandon Rose on arrival, and three glasses of wine chosen by our Sommelier during dinner.
There is also The Churchill Bar & Terrace, a must-visit for every guest, and for Valentine’s you must try the special cocktail “Madame Butterfly” created by Head Bartender, Christian Maspes, a fragrant, fruity and seasonal cocktail, inspired by the Vesper martini. The garnish is a sugar butterfly.
Stay offers available to view and book online.

Hakkasan is one of the greatest Michelin star restaurants in London and around the world, and this Valentine’s would be the best time to treat a loved one to this uber chic, luxuriously dim-lit, Mayfair heaven.
The menu is extensively rich in Chinese dishes perfect for exploring and sharing in sophisticated Cantonese dishes. If ordering A la carte then their signature Peking duck and dim sum dishes are a must-order. You will be drawn to the slow roasted Iberico pork char siu and golden fried soft-shell crab.
The Cocktail list is aptly perfect for Valentine’s, with each section named: Passion, Captivation, Romance and Trust. Alongside their original outpost in Hanway Place they also have a Mayfair restaurant on Bruton Place, which is no less captivating.
If you love sushi as much as we do, then Sushi Samba is a must-visit. Valentine’s Day or not, you cannot be in London and miss out on the beauty and elegance of Sushi Samba’s menu, whether at the Covent Garden or their original restaurant in Heron Tower, in the City of London.
